GENERAL ASSISTANTS - RECEIVING DEPARTMENT

We are seeking hardworking, reliable, and energetic General Assistants to join our Retail Receiving Department. The successful candidates will be responsible for receiving, checking, and processing stock deliveries while ensuring accuracy and efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and offload stock deliveries.
• Check incoming goods against delivery notes and invoices.
• Inspect stock for damages and discrepancies.
• Assist with stock counting and inventory control.
• Move and pack stock safely within the receiving area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company receiving procedures and health & safety standards.
• Assist other departments when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous experience in a receiving, warehouse, logistics, or retail environment will be advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
