General Worker – Feed Store (Swellendam, Western Cape)

Description

SSK is seeking a reliable General Worker for its Agriland store in Swellendam. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will handle daily activities, manual labour, store housekeeping, and food safety standards in a dynamic feed store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual labour, handle and move stock, and lift heavy items as required in the feed store.
• Maintain clean standards through general housekeeping, enforce safety-conscious practices, and follow established risk management and food safety guidelines.
• Execute instructions accurately, engage in clear general communication, and collaborate effectively within an active operational team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Code EB Driver's License.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
• Good physical and mental health; ability to lift heavy items and thrive in a challenging, active environment.
• Reliable, safety-oriented, and attentive to instructions.
• Proven knowledge of feed store operations and related agricultural products is an advantage.
