Job description

Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a General Assistant with experience at our Malmesbury branch.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

Loading and offloading of trucks/bakkies
Lifting and moving heavy furniture and appliances
Assisting with delivering of stock

With the occasional duties of:

Delivering of stock to other branches and customers
Ensuring stock is secure on/in the vehicle
Checking vehicle before leaving the premises for the day as well as after the work day and completing vehicle check list
Ensuring delivery notes are signed/received

Requirements:

Code 8 or 10 driver’s license (Advantageous)
Experience in similar position
Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
Clear criminal record
South African citizen / Permanent South African Resident
Reliable transports (public transport will be accepted, if reliable)
Must be prepared to work weekends and public holidays
