Job description
Location City of Ekurhuleni Remuneration R 4356 to R 4356 - Assignment Type EPWP Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 10
- South African Citizen
- Resident of the City of Ekurhuleni
- Knowledge of municipal services
Core Responsibilities:
- Receive daily work instructions from the designated supervisor.
- Conduct business visits to encourage applications for Business Licences and Trading Permits (where applicable).
- Maintain and submit accurate daily records of businesses visited and work performed.
- Capture and update business owner and business contact information.
- Report suspected non-compliant business activities and operational challenges to the relevant supervisor.
- Load, offload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Perform general labour-intensive tasks in municipal offices, workshops, yards, and field sites.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are kept in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety requirements and safe working procedures.
- Provide general assistance to support municipal service delivery operations.
- Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by an authorised supervisor. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
