Job Description: German-Speaking E-Commerce Client Care Representative

• Workplace Model: On-site (Umhlanga, Durban office)
• Base Compensation: R24,000 monthly
• Shift Pattern: Rotational 24/7 calendar (5 days weekly, 8-hour shifts)

Role OverviewWe are seeking fluent German speakers to deliver superior support for a major international online store. Based in our Umhlanga office, you will serve as the principal contact for digital shoppers—handling order questions, delivery updates, payments, and general product inquiries. This position is ideal for customer-first individuals aiming to grow within the retail and BPO industries.

Main Responsibilities

• Multi-Channel Engagement: Support shoppers via phone calls, live web chat, and email in fluent German and English.
• Order & Delivery Tracking: Assist customers with checking order progress, organizing returns, and resolving delivery issues.
• Issue Management: Address shopper concerns effectively through empathetic and structured problem-solving.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain current familiarity with the digital catalog to share precise information.
• System Entry: Log all customer interactions completely in the CRM software.
• Performance Goals: Regularly meet team benchmarks, focusing on customer satisfaction (CSAT) and quality standards.

Candidate Qualifications

• Languages: Fully fluent in written and spoken German (minimum B2 level) alongside strong business English.
• Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma / Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Availability: Flexible to work rotational schedules, including overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled at running multiple software applications and systems simultaneously.
• Experience: Previous retail or customer support experience is beneficial, but complete paid training is provided.
• Personal Qualities: Adaptable, empathetic, and solution-focused with an upbeat attitude.
