Role Summary: German-Speaking E-Commerce Client Specialist

• Worksite: On-site (Umhlanga, Durban)
• Base Salary: R24,000 per month
• Schedule: 40 hours per week (5 days) on a round-the-clock shift rotation

About the RoleWe are recruiting native or professional-level German speakers to provide exceptional service for a leading international online retailer. Based out of our Umhlanga location, you will act as the key touchpoint for online shoppers, managing queries related to purchasing, package tracking, billing, and general product details. This role offers strong growth potential within the BPO and retail sectors.

Primary Duties

• Multi-Channel Service: Respond to shopper inquiries via phone, digital chat, and email using fluent German and English.
• Order & Logistics Management: Assist buyers with tracking packages, initiating returns, and solving fulfillment issues.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve client concerns calmly and efficiently using critical thinking and empathy.
• Product Expertise: Stay updated on product offerings to provide accurate recommendations and information.
• CRM Maintenance: Accurately record all user interactions within internal customer support systems.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet performance benchmarks, particularly CSAT and service quality metrics.

Applicant Requirements

• Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal German skills (B2 level or higher) alongside professional English.
• Academic Background: Minimum of a Grade 12 / Matric qualification or recognized equivalent.
• Flexibility: Full availability to work variable 8-hour shifts across a 24/7 schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to navigate multiple software applications and databases concurrently.
• Experience: Prior customer service or retail background preferred, though complete, paid training is supplied.
• Key Attributes: Patient, resourceful problem-solver with a positive, team-oriented mindset.
