Job Title: German Customer Service Travel Advisor

Location: Cape Town (Fully On-Site)

Work Arrangement: Full-Time (40 Hours / Week)

Schedule: 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (Rotational shifts between 09:00 AM – 02:00 AM SAST, Mon–Sun)

Compensation: R 20,000.00 Base Salary per month + Night Shift Allowance

Languages Required: Fluent German & English (Oral & Written)

Role Overview As a German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will serve as the main point of contact for global travelers, delivering outstanding support over phone, webchat, and email channels. Through this position, you will control reservations, itinerary changes, and cancellations while proactively addressing concerns to ensure seamless overall journeys. Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Supply exemplary assistance across every interaction channel, taking complete accountability for resolving all customer requests.
• Issue Resolution: Patiently absorb customer feedback, handle objections with a calm demeanor, and provide forward-thinking, actionable solutions.
• Account & Booking Management: Validate and adjust client profile records while accurately maintaining flight and holiday arrangements.
• Clear Communication: Demystify complex travel procedures and guidelines in a plain, easy-to-understand manner in both German and English.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain high efficiency, thorough precision, and speed while handling complex inquiries and back-office administrative tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications Essential Criteria:

• Education: Minimum Grade 12 / Matric education level.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in both written and oral German and English.
• Experience: At least 12 months of global call center experience, OR past experience working in an airline reservations unit or travel agency environment.
• Background Check: Unblemished criminal record and an unblemished credit record.
• Skills: Strong active listening skills, dispute resolution, time management, and an ability to retain composure in high-stress settings.

Remuneration & Benefits Package

• Base Salary: R 20,000.00 per month.
• Night Shift Allowance: Applicable for any work hours performed after 7:00 PM.
• Transport Subsidy: Subsidized single-trip transit provided (Company covers the subsidy; employee share is R315).
