Glazier

AAH Construction is seeking a skilled and reliable Glazier to join our construction and building maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, fitting, installing, repairing, and replacing glass in windows, doors, partitions, shopfronts, frames, and other structures.

The candidate must be able to work accurately, safely, and neatly according to project specifications, quality standards, and site safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Glazier or in a similar role
• Trade Test Certificate or relevant glazing qualification will be an added advantage
• Experience in construction, building maintenance, repairs, and renovations
• Knowledge of glass cutting, fitting, sealing, aluminium frames, window systems, doors, partitions, and shopfronts
• Ability to measure, cut, handle, install, and replace glass safely and accurately
• Ability to use glazing tools and equipment safely
• Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
• Must follow site health and safety rules at all times

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit, install, repair, and replace glass panels
• Install and repair windows, doors, frames, partitions, shopfronts, and related glazing systems
• Apply sealants, putty, rubber gaskets, and other glazing materials
• Remove broken or damaged glass safely
• Ensure all glass installations are secure, neat, aligned, and completed to required quality standards
• Handle and transport glass safely to prevent damage or injury
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor or Construction Supervisor
• Follow all site health and safety procedures
• Assist with other general construction and maintenance duties when required
