Job description
Go High Level (GHL) SPECIALIST
Remote (South Africa Based) | Contract | Fixed Monthly Rate
Harvest Health Marketing, a division of Harvest Company, is a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that works exclusively with cash-pay chiropractic clinics. GoHighLevel is the backbone of everything we build for our clients — from lead capture to follow-up automation to appointment booking — and we need someone who knows the platform inside and out.
We are looking for an experienced GHL Specialist based in South Africa who can build complex automations, troubleshoot technical issues, create high-converting landing pages, set up SMS campaigns, and manage A2P registration for client phone numbers. This is a technical role that requires precision, problem-solving, and the ability to work closely with a U.S.-based team in real time.
About the Role
You will own the technical buildout and ongoing maintenance of GoHighLevel systems for our chiropractic clinic clients. Every client we onboard needs a fully functional GHL environment — pipelines, automations, landing pages, forms, calendars, SMS campaigns, and email sequences — built correctly from the start and maintained as the business evolves.
You will work directly with our team to understand each client's workflow and translate that into a GHL build that runs without constant intervention. When things break — and sometimes they do — you will be the person who diagnoses and fixes it quickly.
This role requires daily availability during U.S. eastern standard time business hours for team meetings via Microsoft Teams. Strong communication is non-negotiable. If you cannot attend live meetings or communicate clearly in English, this role is not the right fit.
Required Skills & Experience
To be considered, you must meet all of the following:
- 3+ years of hands-on GoHighLevel experience — not familiarity, actual buildout and management experience
- Proven ability to build complex, multi-step automations including conditional logic, triggers, wait steps, and branching workflows
- Experience building and optimizing landing pages inside GHL — forms, funnels, and conversion-focused design
- Experience setting up SMS campaigns including drip sequences, appointment reminders, and lead follow-up automations
- Direct experience completing A2P 10DLC registration for client phone numbers — you understand the process, the requirements, and how to troubleshoot rejections
- Strong troubleshooting ability — you can diagnose why an automation isn't firing, why a form isn't submitting, or why a message isn't delivering and fix it without hand-holding
- Excellent written and spoken English — you will attend daily meetings, communicate with team members, and document your builds clearly
- Fast, stable internet connection capable of supporting daily video calls via Microsoft Teams without interruption
- Availability to attend daily team meetings during U.S. business hours (schedule to be confirmed)
- In depth understanding of
Applications without demonstrated GHL experience will not be reviewed. Be prepared to walk through a build you have completed.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GHL sub-account setup and white-label agency environments
- Familiarity with Zapier or Make (Integromat) for third-party integrations
- Experience integrating GHL with Meta Lead Ads or Google Ads for automatic lead ingestion
- Background working with U.S.-based digital marketing agencies or healthcare-adjacent businesses
- Understanding of HIPAA-conscious communication practices for medical or healthcare clients
Responsibilities
- Build and configure GHL sub-accounts for new clients including pipelines, stages, tags, and custom fields
- Design and build complex automations for lead follow-up, appointment booking, no-show re-engagement, and nurture sequences
- Build landing pages, opt-in forms, and funnels optimized for patient lead generation
- Set up and manage SMS and email campaigns including A/B testing and performance monitoring
- Complete A2P 10DLC registration for client phone numbers and manage compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot automation failures, integration issues, and platform errors quickly and thoroughly
- Document all builds clearly so the team understands what was built and why
- Attend daily team meetings via Microsoft Teams and communicate progress, blockers, and completed work
- Maintain and update existing client GHL environments as strategies evolve
Compensation
- Fixed monthly rate — based on experience and scope of work
- Compensation discussed after skills assessment and initial interview
- Long-term contract with potential for rate increases as the relationship and workload grow
Who Thrives in This Role
- You are technically precise — you build things correctly the first time and test before handing off
- You communicate proactively — you flag issues before they become problems and ask questions before going in the wrong direction
- You take ownership of your builds — if something isn't working, you don't wait to be asked, you fix it
- You are reliable and present — daily meetings aren't optional and your availability during U.S. hours is consistent
- You learn fast — GHL updates frequently and you stay current without being asked
If you are looking for a role where you work independently without communication or live collaboration, this is not the right fit. We operate as a team and expect you to be a present, communicative part of it.
How to Apply
Please submit the following:
- A brief written introduction (3–5 sentences) describing your GHL experience and the types of builds you have completed
- Complete and submit a video using a link sent to contact@harvestcompany.com Introduce yourself, describe your work experience and why you are interested in this position. Put your name and the position in the subject line of the email.
- At least 2–3 examples of GHL automations or builds you have created — screenshots, Loom walkthroughs, or written descriptions are all acceptable
- Confirmation that you have completed A2P 10DLC registration for at least one client and a brief description of that process
- Your current availability during U.S. eastern standard time business hours and your expected monthly rate
Applications submitted without GHL work examples will not be reviewed.
