Golf Coordinator & Finance Assistant

Ba-Phalaborwa Golf Club is looking for enthusiastic, organised and service-driven Golf Coordinator & Finance Assistant to join our team.

GOLF COORDINATOR

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the day-to-day golf operations and administrative activities.
• Manage golf bookings, tee times and member/player enquiries.
• Assist with organising golf days, competitions and events.
• Maintain accurate golf-related records and documentation.
• Liaise with members, guests, suppliers and internal departments.
• Assist with POS and related golf club systems.
• Handle queries professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with reconciliations and ensuring accurate recording of golf-related revenue.
• Support the Golf/Club management team with general administration.
• Ensure smooth coordination of daily golf activities, particularly during busy periods.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous experience in golf operations, club administration, hospitality or a similar environment will be advantageous.
• A relevant Finance/Accounting qualification or studies will be advantageous.
• Previous experience in finance administration, bookkeeping or a similar role will be advantageous.
• Experience with bookings, POS or accounting systems will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Knowledge or understanding of golf club operations will be an advantage.

FINANCE ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day financial and administrative duties.
• Capture and process invoices, payments and other financial transactions.
• Ensure invoices are supported by the required documentation.
• Assist with reconciliations across different revenue streams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing.
• Assist with processing and checking financial documentation.
• Follow up on outstanding documentation and queries.
• Assist with reporting and general finance administration.
• Liaise with internal departments and suppliers regarding finance-related queries.
• Ensure transactions are captured accurately and within required deadlines.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team.

Work Location: In person
