GOODS RECEIVING CLERK (PAROW)
Join our team at DIESEL-ELECTRIC (CAPE)(RF) (PTY) LTD, a leading automotive wholesaler. We are seeking an accurate and reliable GRN Clerk for our Parow Branch. You will be responsible for capturing of goods received on the Company's ERP system, ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of stock into the branch by collaborating with various departments, maintaining records, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to effective inventory management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Check received supplier invoices for a delivery order number/reference number to use when capturing the received goods into the system.
· Ensure that pricing on the ERP system balances with the supplier invoice.
· Ensure that quantities received balance with the purchase order.
· Capture goods on supplier invoices that the warehouse has confirmed receipt of.
· Capture freight upliftments if applicable.
· Maintain accurate records of received goods by entering relevant information into the ERP system, including item descriptions, quantities, serial numbers, batch numbers, and any other necessary details.
· Address any queries with warehouse staff to ensure that all information captured is accurate.
· Assist Finance with any queries regarding supplier invoices that have been captured.
· Assist the Warehouse Manager with any stock adjustments.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as required by Management.
Minimum requirements:
· Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification
· Working knowledge of an ERP system, with the ability to capture receiving transactions accurately (essential).
· Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, stock control, inventory, or logistics environment will be advantageous.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and traceability.
· Able to organise and prioritise work to meet operational deadlines, working independently and as part of a team.
· Good verbal communication and a professional manner when dealing with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
· Reliable, honest, and accountable, with satisfactory attendance and punctuality, and committed to safe working practices and company procedures.
Pay: From R108 000,00 per year
