ThoroughTec Simulation is seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working Goods Receiving Inspector to join their Quality Assurance Department in a full-time capacity in Durban.

The successful candidate will play an integral role in the ensuring that all incoming purchased goods meet the company’s strict quality standards. We require an individual that is energetic, passionate and proactive and who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• GRN processes.
• Data capturing.
• Generating accurate purchasing reports
• Operating as part of a broader quality control team
• Communicating purchasing-related matters both internally and externally.

Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate:

• Prior purchasing/ receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• An ability to work in a cross functional team with challenging deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at one time
• Administrative and recordkeeping skills
• Proficient in Pastel or similar Software packages
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office packages
• Good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• A positive and engaging attitude in dealing with people at all levels within the organisation.
