GP - isiZulu Teacher

The College invites applications for the following position which will be available from 1 January 2027.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals who believe they have the required skills and competencies to take on this position. We seek a passionate and innovative academic leader who is excited about teaching girls and continuing to grow the academic reputation of St Stithians College.

The requirements for this position are:

• A suitable professional qualification and appropriate educational experience, particularly in girls’ education
• The applicant should be an excellent teacher who can engage and inspire young girls while understanding the considerable part all teachers play in supporting children emotionally, and the significant link this has to academic achievement
• A record of creativity, innovation, commitment and professionalism
• A passion for teaching and for the young people whose learning you are expected to inspire
• A willingness to embrace rapid changes in education and an interest and ability to integrate ICT into your teaching and learning
• A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• An awareness of the nature of the school and willingness to commit to its all-round ethos, co-curricular activities and pastoral approach
• A willingness to work within the Methodist ethos of the College.
• Proof of registration with SACE supported by a sexual offender’s clearance certificate
