Grade (1-3) Foundation Phase Teacher (Temporary Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an energetic, qualified, and experienced Foundation Phase Teacher to take over a class on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave period. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, thorough knowledge of the curriculum, and the ability to maintain academic continuity for our learners; - Capable of teaching English Home Language (ENGHL) and Afrikaans First Additional Language (FAL) at the Foundation Phase level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons according to the prescribed Foundation Phase curriculum.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of Foundation Phase learners.
• Maintain an orderly, safe, and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Manage daily classroom administration, attendance, and record-keeping.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership regarding learner progress.
