VACANCY: GRADE 6 MATERNITY POST AND GRADE 7 PERMENANT POST
Start Date: SEPTEMBER 2026

Bizweni Independent School is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and dedicated educator to join our team. We are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic about inspiring learners and creating engaging learning experiences in both the Intermediate and Senior Phases. The successful candidate will initially take up a maternity cover position from September to December 2026, teaching in Grade 6, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent Grade 7 teaching position from January 2027.

Minimum Requirements:

· Relevant teaching qualification and SACE registration.

· Experience teaching Grades 7, 8, and 9 will be advantageous.

· Ability to teach Languages and Social Sciences.

· Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

· A passion for learner-centred education and academic excellence.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school.

· Create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.

· Be confident teaching across both Intermediate and Senior Phase levels.
