Job description

Accountant - Durbanville

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional female accountant to be based in Durbanville to oversee the Bookkeeping to Trial Balance function for a multitude of clients.

Non-negotiable requirements

Experience in auditing or accounting firm
Based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town
Must have own reliable transport
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Relevant Qualification
Articles: Completed SAIPA OR SAICA or starting in the near future

Key Responsibilities

Tax planning and compilation of annual financial statements for individuals, companies, and trusts
Performing audits
Managing tax submissions including provisional tax, dividends tax, and third-party data submissions, as well as handling SARS verifications, objections, and appeals
Overseeing bookkeeping to Trial Balance, including calculation and submission of statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, UIF)

Pay: R10 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
