Job Advert Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR disciplines, including HR Business Partnering, employee relations, recruitment, talent management, and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) & Wellness. The ideal candidate will support our HR initiatives and contribute to creating a positive and effective work environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines – Commerce, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources Management or Organisational Psychology
- An Honours degree in any of the above fields will be advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Assist HR Business Partners in delivering HR strategies and solutions that align with business objectives.
- Support the implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
- Participate in meetings with business leaders to understand their HR needs and provide appropriate support.
Employee Relations
- Support the management of employee relations cases, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
- Assist in conducting investigations and preparing related documentation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
Recruitment
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires.
Talent Management
- Support talent management initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and development programs.
- Assist in the administration of learning and development activities.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
EVP & Wellness
- Contribute to the design and delivery of Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and wellness programs.
- Support initiatives that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.
- Assist in organizing wellness events and activities.
Rewards & Benefits
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Support the development and communication of total rewards strategies.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and market trends in compensation and benefits.
- Help manage employee inquiries related to compensation, benefits, and rewards.
