Junior to Mid Graphic Designer – Contract / Freelance

We are looking for a talented Junior to Mid Graphic Designer to work with us on a contract/freelance basis across a variety of client projects.

NOTE: You need to attach a portfolio of sample work to be considered.

We're looking for someone with a strong creative eye who enjoys turning ideas and briefs into professional, engaging visual communication. This is an opportunity to work across social media, digital design, websites and corporate identity, while building practical experience across a range of client brands.

What you'll work on

Depending on the project, your work may include:

• Social media graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms
• Digital advertising and promotional graphics
• Website design and visual layouts
• WordPress website design and content updates
• Corporate identity and branding projects
• Business cards, stationery, presentations and other corporate collateral
• Marketing and promotional material
• Adapting existing brand guidelines and creating design variations
• Preparing artwork for digital and print applications
• Developing creative concepts from a brief

What we're looking for

We're looking for talent and potential as much as experience. You could be a junior designer, recently qualified designer, self-taught designer or someone with some industry experience who wants to take on additional creative project work.

You should have:

• A strong eye for layout, typography, colour and composition
• Good graphic design skills and attention to detail
• A portfolio or examples of your work
• Experience with professional design software
• The ability to interpret a brief and produce polished creative work
• An understanding of social media and digital design
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work independently and meet agreed project deadlines
• A willingness to learn and develop

CorelDRAW experience is advantageous, particularly for corporate identity, artwork and print-related projects.

WordPress experience is also advantageous, especially if you're interested in working across both graphic and web design.

How the role works

This is a contract/freelance opportunity, with projects and assignments agreed according to client requirements.

Most work can be completed remotely, but occasional in-person meetings in the Brackenfell area may be required for project briefings, creative discussions or collaboration. These meetings would be arranged in advance.

The amount and type of work may vary depending on the projects available and your availability.

Potential to grow

While the initial engagement is on a contract/freelance basis, there is potential for the relationship to develop into a more regular or full-time position as the business and workload grow.

We're interested in finding someone who can grow with Artribe and potentially become a long-term part of our creative team.

Location: Brackenfell / Remote with occasional in-person meetings
Engagement: Contract / freelance, with potential for future full-time opportunity
Experience: Junior / emerging designer; relevant experience and portfolio considered
