Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor, Graphic Design Lecturer**,** for Eduvos Online on a part-time basis.

Type of appointment:

Independent Contractor

• This is a part-time contractual agreement, which will require a flexible work schedule (generally during normal business hours) and will be remunerated on a hourly basis as per operational requirements.

Purpose:

• To lecture Humanities-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
• To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications required:

• A Master's degree (NQF 9) in Graphic Design/ Visual Communication Design/ Design Studies/ or a related discipline is generally preferred, particularly for:

  • Honours-level teaching
  • Research supervision
  • Module leadership responsibilities

Experience:

• Relevant lecturing experience
• Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
• Relevant research experience

Duties and Responsibilities

Modules to be lectured:

• Research Design
• Research Project (Specifically honours research supervision)

Responsibilities:

• Lecturing
