Graphic Designer

Packaging & Product Design

• Design and develop product packaging across Creative Housewares' brands.
• Work from existing brand guidelines while maintaining consistency across product ranges.
• Create packaging layouts, artwork and print-ready files.
• Work with product information, specifications, imagery, icons, claims and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare artwork for local and international suppliers and manufacturers.
• Make packaging amendments and artwork updates when required.
• Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure packaging is both visually appealing and commercially effective.
• Assist with packaging concepts for new product launches and product range extensions.
• Ensure all packaging artwork is accurate, consistent and production-ready.

Instruction Manuals & Product Communication

• Design and format instruction manuals for household appliances and consumer products.
• Create product information sheets, quick-start guides, warranty information and other product documentation.
• Ensure manuals are easy to understand, professionally laid out and visually consistent.
• Work with product specifications and technical information to communicate information clearly.
• Prepare final artwork for print and digital distribution.

Digital & Social Media Design

• Work alongside the Marketing Coordinator to develop creative concepts for campaigns and content calendars.
• Adapt campaign artwork across different social media formats and platforms.
• Design promotional graphics, product features, launches, competitions and seasonal campaigns.
• Create digital assets for paid advertising and online promotions.
• Assist with the creation of website banners, promotional tiles and e-commerce assets.
• Resize and adapt creative assets for different platforms and requirements.

Email Marketing

• Assist the Marketing Coordinator with the design and creation of email newsletters and promotional mailers.
• Create visually engaging layouts for product launches, promotions, company news and campaigns.
• Ensure email creative is aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Adapt existing creative into email-friendly formats where required.

Brand & Marketing Collateral

• Create brochures, catalogues, flyers, posters, point-of-sale materials and promotional collateral.
• Assist with trade show and exhibition graphics, including banners, signage and promotional materials.
• Create internal presentations and marketing documents when required.
• Assist with the development of campaign concepts and visual identities.
• Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints.
• Help ensure all Creative Housewares brands have a professional and consistent visual presence.

Photography & Content Support

• Assist with preparing products and creative assets for product shoots and lifestyle shoots where required.
• Support the Marketing Coordinator with visual content requirements for campaigns.
• Retouch, resize and prepare product imagery for digital and print use.
• Have an eye for composition, typography, colour, layout and overall visual presentation.

AI & Emerging Design Tools

• Be comfortable incorporating AI tools into the creative process.
• Use AI responsibly to assist with ideation, creative concepts, image generation, background creation, copy support and workflow efficiency.
• Be willing to learn and experiment with new AI-powered creative tools as they develop.
• Understand that AI should support the design process while maintaining quality, brand consistency and creative direction.

Pay: R15 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
