Job description

WE ARE HIRINGAll-in-One Graphic Designer, Printing Assistant & Store Manager

A printing business in Vereeniging is looking for a reliable, energetic and hardworking person to assist with graphic design, printing, customer service and the daily management of the store.

Main duties

Create artwork for banners, business cards, posters, flyers and other printing products
Assist customers with designs, quotations and orders
Operate printing, cutting, laminating and finishing equipment
Manage printing jobs from order to collection
Handle cash, card and EFT payments correctly
Issue receipts and complete daily cash-ups
Monitor stock, materials and wastage
Keep the shop, computers and equipment organised
Assist with internet café services
Help promote the business and increase sales
Open and close the store when required

Requirements

Basic computer knowledge
Interest in graphic design and printing
Good communication and customer-service skills
Honest, responsible and punctual
Able to work independently
Willing to learn and follow instructions
Able to handle cash and keep accurate records
Knowledge of CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Canva, Flexi or similar software will be an advantage
Previous printing experience will be an advantage, but training can be provided to the right person

What we are looking for

We need someone who can eventually take responsibility for the daily running of the printing shop, look after customers, control stock, reduce wastage and help grow sales.
