Griller / Grill Chef

Location: Tin Cup Driving Range & Restaurant - Johannesburg South

Tin Cup is looking for an experienced and passionate Griller to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, works well under pressure and is committed to maintaining excellent food standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 3 consecutive years' experience working as a griller in a busy restaurant or grill house.
• Proven experience cooking steaks, burgers, ribs, chicken, and other grilled menu items.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all grilled menu items to Tin Cup's standards.
• Ensure all food is cooked consistently and presented professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic grill station.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Minimise food waste and ensure correct portion control.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general kitchen duties when required.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure fast and efficient service.
