You'll gain broad exposure across cash management, group reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, and executive-level reporting, while partnering with senior leadership and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Job Description:

Group Reporting & Management Accounts

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
• Support group reporting processes, including consolidation inputs and variance analysis.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations and timely reporting across multiple entities.
• Investigate and explain key financial movements and business performance trends.

Cash Management & Payments Oversight

• Oversee payment processes to ensure accuracy, governance, and compliance.
• Monitor and report on cash flow positions across the group.
• Identify potential cash flow risks and funding requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls and approval processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Consolidate financial information and evaluate budget submissions.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into business performance.
• Support scenario planning and cash flow forecasting initiatives.

Executive & Board Reporting

• Prepare financial reports, presentations, and board packs.
• Translate complex financial information into meaningful commercial insights.
• Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and executive-level reporting requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• 2 years' post-articles experience.
• Experience within audit, group finance, head office finance, commercial finance, or multi-entity environments.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities.
• Exposure to management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and group reporting.
• Ability to present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with a strong analytical and problem-solving approach.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
