Our mission is to build world-class technology platforms that enable organisations and governments to retain full sovereignty over their data and AI while delivering enterprise-grade managed services.We are seeking an exceptional Global Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team as one of our executives.This is far more than a traditional CFO position. We are looking for an entrepreneurial finance leader who wants to form part of a team buidling a global organisation. Someone who combines strategic vision with practical execution and enjoys working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Global CEO, the Global CFO will establish and lead the global finance function while supporting the rollout of operations across multiple countries.The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing the financial architecture, governance framework and commercial strategy that will underpin the organisations international expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global financial strategy.
• Design scalable financial governance, reporting and control frameworks.Lead budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash-flow management.
• Develop financial models to support investment, licensing and international expansion.
• Establish financial policies, procedures and internal controls across the organisation
• Ensure compliance with financial, taxation, accounting and corporate reporting requirements for all our companies, operating Globally.
• Work with local finance teams and external advisers to ensure each country entity complies with applicable legislation and regulatory obligations.
• Lead the company's financial risk management framework.
• Support fundraising, investor relations and due diligence activities.
• Work closely with legal, governance, compliance and operational teams to ensure financial regulatory obligations are incorporated into the organisations governance framework.
• Assist with obtaining and maintaining finance-related certifications, accreditations and assurance requirements applicable to the business, including supporting audit readiness and compliance programmes.
• Support country businesses through establishment, growth and operational maturity.
• Provide commercial and strategic advice to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to the Board.

About You

You are an experienced finance executive who is commercially astute, adaptable and comfortable operating in an evolving business.You understand that growing organisations require solutions rather than bureaucracy. You enjoy building systems, mentoring teams and creating robust financial foundations that support rapid international growth.

You will ideally possess:

• 15+ years of senior financial leadership experience preferably internationally.
• Previous experience as a CFO, Finance Director or equivalent executive.
• Experience within technology, managed services, SaaS, digital infrastructure or high-growth startup environments.
• Experience supporting businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of international financial reporting, taxation and corporate governance.Experience establishing finance functions, policies and governance frameworks.
• Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills.Experience working with investors, boards and executive leadership teams.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).

Highly Desirable Experience

• Startup or scale-up businesses.International licensing or franchise business models.Capital raising and investment transactions.
• Mergers and acquisitions.
• Multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction financial management.
• Enterprise risk management and corporate governance.
• Audit, assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with Southern African financial, taxation and corporate regulatory environments
