Role Overview
As a Growth Manager, you are the main point of contact for a portfolio of merchants. Your job: make sure they launch fast, promote consistently, and grow their weekly orders using a mix of smart marketing, social media, and direct contact.
You’re part strategist, part coach, part “get it done” operator.
Key Responsibilities
- Own relationships with a set of Flash Delivery merchants and become their go-to person.
- Create simple growth plans for each store to increase online orders and basket size.
- Post and schedule content on merchants’ social media (mainly Facebook) using our in-house tools.
- Run and coordinate in-app promos, deals, and hero products to drive order spikes.
- Hold regular check-in calls / Zoom meetings with merchants to review performance and next steps.
- Proactively call merchants who are slowing down and re-activate them with clear actions.
- Monitor KPIs (orders per week, first-7-day orders, 30-day orders) and report on progress.
- Work closely with onboarding, catalogue, and marketing teams to unblock growth issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years in account management, customer success, field sales, or similar client-facing role.
- Comfortable on the phone and video: you will speak to merchants daily.
- Confident posting on social media pages (especially Facebook) on behalf of brands.
- Strong organiser: you can manage dozens of small accounts without dropping balls.
- Data-aware: comfortable looking at basic reports and making simple “do more / do less” decisions.
- Genuine interest in UK convenience / grocery or local retail is a big plus.
- You like being measured on outcomes (orders, activation, retention), not just activity.
