Guarding Manager

Company: ONE Security Guarding

Location: Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

ONE Security Group is looking for an experienced Guarding Manager to oversee our guarding operations. You'll be responsible for managing site supervisors and guards, ensuring compliance with security standards, and maintaining strong client relationships across our contracted sites.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day guarding operations across assigned sites
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise security guards and site supervisors
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company and client standards
Handle client liaison, complaints, and service level agreement (SLA) management
Monitor guard performance, discipline, and attendance
Ensure all guards are properly equipped, briefed, and PSIRA compliant
Investigate incidents and prepare reports for management and clients
Manage rosters, overtime, and leave planning
Support recruitment and onboarding of new guarding staff
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security regulations

Requirements

PSIRA registered (Grade A)
Valid driver's license and own reliable transport
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a guarding/security management role
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours call-outs
Clean criminal record
