CLEARVIEW GUEST HOUSE

We are looking for a professional, friendly and responsible Receptionist / Guest Experience Supervisor to join our team.

LIVE-IN POSITION

This position combines reception duties, guest relations and daily supervision. Our biggest priority is excellent guest experience . We want someone who knows how to communicate with guests, treat people with respect and ensure that every guest leaves with a positive impression.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming guests and providing excellent customer service
• Handling check-ins and check-outs
• Managing bookings, enquiries and guest communication
• Handling payments and basic reception administration
• Assisting guests with their needs during their stay
• Handling complaints and difficult situations calmly and professionally
• Following up on guest requests and ensuring they are resolved
• Supervising daily guest-house activities
• Coordinating with housekeeping and other staff
• Checking that rooms are ready and presentable for incoming guests
• Monitoring staff attendance and reporting issues
• Ensuring guest-house rules and procedures are followed
• Reporting maintenance or operational issues when they arise
• Helping create an environment that leads to excellent reviews and repeat bookings

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 2 years (Required)
