Club General Operations Manager – Planet Fitness

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Club General Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our fitness facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional member experiences, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
Lead, motivate, and develop staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
Oversee member service standards and ensure a welcoming, clean, and safe environment.
Monitor club performance and implement strategies to achieve operational and financial targets.
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure all health, safety, and operational standards are maintained.
Handle member concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate with relevant service providers to ensure equipment and facilities remain in excellent condition.
Support sales initiatives, member retention, and community engagement activities.
Prepare reports and communicate regularly with regional management.

Requirements:

Previous management experience in the fitness, hospitality, retail, or service industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound operational decisions.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Computer literacy and experience with administrative reporting.
A passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional customer service.
