Hair Stylist - Freelance / Mobile - Cape Town

At The Visua, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional beauty services with a personal touch. We’re looking for talented, experienced hair stylists to bring creativity, professionalism and attention to detail to our clients.

As a private beauty and wellness concierge, we provide services for women and men at their homes, hotels and private accommodation - from everyday haircuts and blow-dries to styling for special occasions.

Role Description

As a Hair Stylist, you will:

• Perform precise haircuts tailored to each client’s preferences, hair type and desired look.
• Deliver professional blow-dries and blowouts, including smooth, sleek finishes and voluminous styles.
• Create curls, waves and polished styles for everyday wear, work, dinners and events.
• Provide occasion styling for photoshoots, celebrations and weddings, according to your expertise.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend suitable cuts and styles.
• Work confidently with different hair lengths, types and textures.
• Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, professionalism and client care.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional hair styling experience.
• Strong skills in haircutting, blow-drying, blowouts and finishing.
• A portfolio demonstrating your own work on real clients.
• Your own professional tools, styling equipment and high-quality products.
• Reliable transport, punctuality and a professional manner.
• Relevant hairdressing qualifications or training are an advantage.
• Experience with updos and bridal hair is an advantage.

This is a freelance, independent contractor opportunity. Bookings depend on client demand and your availability.
