External Sales Representative (Hardware)

FOWKES BROS (PTY) LTD – Cape Town, Western Cape

Sales rep position available within an established engineering supplies business, to service local hardware stores.

• Minimum of 3 years (preferably longer) direct experience selling hardware products into independent hardware stores in the Western Cape.
• Existing customer book and relationships into hardware stores in the Western Cape, which allow the successful candidate to hit the ground running.
• Proven track record of increasing shelf space for supplier product basket.
• Direct experience with brands across categories such as: Adhesives & Sealants, Lubricants & Sprays, Fasteners, Brushware, Protective Gear, Cutting & Threading consumables, Hand Tools, Power Tools.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Grade 12 education
• Will only consider applicants 25 years or older.
• Personal attributes: Ambitious self-starter, with high attention to detail, who wants to be part of a dynamic and growing team.
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Based in Cape Town. Will require first 2 hours of every day to be at our Paarden Eiland warehouse.
