Job description
Established KZN South Coast Restaurant is looking for a Head Chef. Candidate must be willing and able to relocate if not living in close proximity, Market related salary offered.

· Own Transport
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Between 3 - 5 years of chef experience in lodges, or busy restaurants.
· Strong team leadership and delegation skills.
· Computer literacy. Knowledge of PILOT/GAAP is advantageous.
· Work within operational budgets and manage stock control and invoice inputting.
· Strong day-to-day admin and long-term forecasting abilities.
· Collaborate closely with Managers and Staff to implement standards and staff policies.
· Experience hosting events/buffets
· Ability to cost menus effectively.
· Continuously monitor and control dish quality.
· Service and Kitchen Management.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R12 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
