Role Purpose

As the Head of Department – Decor, Lighting and Kitchen at Leroy Merlin, you will lead the department's commercial strategy, drive merchandising excellence, and champion a customer-focused shopping experience. You will be responsible for guiding and developing your team, optimising product ranges, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. As a member of the store's management committee, you will play a key role in achieving business objectives and contributing to the overall success and growth of the store..

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise the product range based on customer needs, market trends, and the store environment.
• Select and manage product assortments in line with Leroy Merlin's merchandising and marketing strategies.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives.
• Ensure the sales floor is consistently Full, Clean, and Priced while maintaining high merchandising standards.
• Create attractive, well-organised product displays that enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Plan and execute commercial campaigns and promotions to increase store traffic and achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the team to implement strategies that address commercial challenges and support business objectives.
• Promote a culture of excellent customer service and hospitality within the team.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, provide suitable solutions, and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in retail management, with a proven record in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and retail operations.
