5. Key responsibilities
5.1 Institution-wide academic digital learning, LMS and course design strategy
Develop, maintain, and lead Wingu's LMS and digital course design strategy across all academic divisions.
Establish Moodle course architecture standards, including layout, naming conventions, sections, navigation, activities,
assessment placement, completion tracking, learner guidance, and support features.
Define minimum expectations for asynchronous and self-paced course design, including sequencing, clarity of instruction,
pacing guidance, accessibility, formative checks, independent learning support, and student engagement.
Lead cross-divisional implementation of the LMS and course design strategy through academic HODs.
Ensure that digital course design supports Wingu's academic model, learner experience, operational scalability, and quality
standards.
Prepare annual and termly updates to the LMS and course design strategy based on audit findings, learner engagement
data, academic needs, and operational priorities.
5.2 Academic HOD leadership, divisional reporting, audit and compliance
Require academic HODs to submit regular progress reports on LMS implementation, content development, course
updates, Moodle readiness, course design compliance, and corrective actions.
Chair monthly LMS and Course Design Strategy meetings with academic HODs to review progress, risks, blockers,
divisional compliance, and upcoming priorities.
Conduct scheduled and ad hoc audits of each academic division to assess adherence to Wingu's LMS strategy, course
design standards, asynchronous learning expectations, and digital content requirements.

Issue corrective action requirements to HODs where non-compliance, incomplete implementation, poor course design,
delayed content progress, or quality gaps are identified.
Escalate unresolved non-compliance, repeated delays, or strategic risks to executive leadership.
Produce cross-divisional reports showing progress, compliance status, audit findings, risks, improvements, and
recommendations.
5.3 LMS leadership and digital learning operations
Oversee Moodle course structures, user access, permissions, enrolments, cohorts, groups, course availability, and course
readiness.
Ensure that Moodle courses are logically structured, easy to navigate, pedagogically aligned, and consistent with Wingu's
digital learning standards.
Monitor LMS performance, uptime, access issues, enrolment accuracy, recurring user problems, and data quality.
Ensure academic-year and term-start readiness across Moodle, cohorts, class lists, course resources, assessments, and
related systems.
Maintain SOPs, configuration records, quality assurance checklists, course architecture standards, support guides, and
change logs.
Identify learner, parent, teacher, and staff friction points in the LMS and lead improvements to reduce operational difficulty.
5.4 Content creation and course build project management
Create and maintain project plans for digital course builds, course updates, asynchronous lessons, resources,
assessments, enrichment content, and Moodle publishing work.
Manage content production backlogs, priorities, contributors, dependencies, quality assurance stages, timelines, and
approval workflows.
Coordinate with academic HODs, subject specialists, curriculum developers, content creators, teachers, instructional
designers, and external contributors.
Ensure that digital content meets Wingu's academic, instructional design, accessibility, formatting, learner experience, and
LMS usability standards before publication.
Maintain version control, publication records, content update logs, review status, and approval evidence.
Report regularly on content development milestones, risks, delays, dependencies, and completion rates.
5.5 Technical support division leadership
Manage the Technical Support Agent and lead the technical support function for LMS and related digital learning systems.
Establish clear support standards, ticket triage categories, response expectations, escalation pathways, resolution
standards, and user communication protocols.
Oversee ticket trends, recurring support issues, SLA performance, support quality, and user satisfaction.
Develop and maintain knowledge-base articles, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, onboarding resources, and support
documentation for staff, students, and parents.
Convert recurring technical support issues into system fixes, process improvements, training interventions, SOP updates,
or course design improvements.
Ensure technical support processes are service-oriented, documented, measurable, and scalable.
5.6 Self-paced homeschooling cohort leadership
Manage the Divisional Student Success Advisor responsible for self-paced homeschooling cohorts.
Oversee the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of self-paced cohorts in Moodle and related systems.
Ensure students and parents are clearly onboarded into the LMS, course expectations, pacing model, support channels,
communication rhythm, and escalation pathways.
Monitor learner engagement, progress, course completion, inactivity, risk indicators, intervention status, and parent/student
support needs.
Ensure that the Student Success Advisor follows structured check-ins, intervention pathways, parent communication
standards, and escalation protocols.
Produce regular cohort health reports covering learner progress, engagement, risks, support needs, interventions, and
recommendations.
5.7 Systems, workflow and data optimisation
Design and maintain Monday.com boards, dashboards, automations, reporting workflows, and accountability structures for
LMS, content, support, and self-paced cohort operations.
Ensure consistency and data quality between Moodle, Monday.com, Google Workspace, support systems, student records,
and other relevant platforms.
Identify repetitive tasks, manual bottlenecks, and recurring operational problems that can be simplified, automated, or
redesigned.

Build or oversee dashboards for LMS readiness, content progress, support performance, divisional compliance, student
engagement, and cohort health.
Ensure data capture practices are accurate, consistent, timely, and suitable for executive reporting and operational
decision-making.
5.8 People leadership and cross-functional collaboration
Set priorities, performance expectations, accountability rhythms, and development plans for direct reports.
Hold structured weekly check-ins with direct reports and monthly governance meetings with academic HODs.
Collaborate with academic, admissions, student success, operations, marketing, finance, and executive leadership teams.
Communicate complex technical, digital learning, and systems issues in clear language for non-technical stakeholders.

5.9 Governance, compliance and risk management
Ensure appropriate user permissions, role-based access control, timely removal of access, and secure LMS administration.
