To accelerate growth in South Africa and internationally, SAI is appointing Managing Partners – visionary leaders who are recognised in their industries and can champion our sectoral AI transformation agenda.
Role Overview
As a Managing Partner, you will be the face of SAI in your sector – a thought leader, trusted advisor, and growth catalyst.
You will leverage your industry reputation, executive relationships, and sector expertise to drive business development, thought leadership, and large-scale AI adoption within your vertical.
This role is suited to distinguished leaders – either currently serving in CXO/Board roles or retired executives with deep credibility – who can drive vertical growth while shaping the AI future of their sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sectoral Business Leadership

Own the P&L growth of your vertical within the School of AI.

Drive AI consulting, transformation projects, and skilling programmes in your sector.

Leverage your C-suite network to unlock partnerships and major projects. Thought Leadership & Advocacy

Act as a sector ambassador for AI adoption and digital transformation.

Represent SAI in industry forums, boards, and government/sector committees.

Publish insights, articles, and thought pieces on AI trends in your sector. Strategic Client Engagement

Build trusted relationships with CXOs, Boards, and policymakers.

Advise organisations on AI strategy, workflow automation, and capability building.

Drive large-scale AI transformation projects and co-create value with clients. Organisational Leadership

Mentor consulting and delivery teams with sectoral insights and strategic direction.

Collaborate with SAI leadership to shape the vision, growth, and market positioning.

Enhance SAI’s visibility and credibility as the AI partner of choice for enterprises. Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: 25–30+ years in senior leadership (CXO/Board/MD/Business Head).

Industry Standing: Recognised sector thought leader with strong visibility inprofessional and industry networks.

Background:
o CXO/Ex-CXO of top companies in Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, ICT, Retail, or Energy.
o Or a retired industry stalwart with strong credibility and networks.
- Expertise:
o Deep understanding of industry transformation and the emerging role of AI.
o Ability to communicate AI’s business impact to Boards and executive teams.

Network: Extensive C-suite, corporate, and regulatory relationships.

Persona: Visionary, strategic, collaborative, and highly respected in the sector. Performance Metrics
