Head of Trade and Working Capital Solutions

Job Purpose

To originate, structure and execute complex trade and working capital solutions that support client growth and deepen client relationships. The role acts as the specialist solution lead across trade and working capital opportunities, partnering with Sales, Coverage and Product teams to convert client opportunities into executable transactions while ensuring effective risk management and seamless execution.Job Responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trade and Working Capital Solutioning by identifying client needs and structuring tailored solutions across trade finance, supply chain finance and working capital products.
• Asset Based Finance (ABF) growth by leading commercial growth of ABF (both on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet/leasing solutions).
• Drive Origination and Deal Conversion by partnering with Transactional Services Sales and Coverage teams to progress opportunities, deepen client relationships and grow trade and working capital revenues.
• Manage End-to-End Transaction Execution by coordinating transactions from solution design through credit approval, documentation, implementation and client onboarding.
• Coordinate Cross-Functional Delivery by working closely with Product, Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations and Coverage teams to deliver integrated client solutions and remove execution barriers.
• Ensure Effective Risk and Governance Management by maintaining transaction discipline and ensuring compliance with applicable credit, regulatory and risk frameworks.
• Build Specialist Capability and Market Credibility by providing technical expertise, market insight and coaching to sales teams while representing Nedbank as a trusted advisor in trade and working capital solutions. Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred Qualification

Relevant DegreeMinimum Experience Level

8 to 10 years experience in relevant or appropriate role in banking or financial services environment that has provided the types of exposure listed above.Technical / Professional Knowledge
