Healthcare Software Sales Consultant

An exciting opportunity with a Healthcare IT Company to market and sell claims management solutions to Healthcare practices and facilities in the North West Province.

The successful candidate will use their business development and relationship building skills to generate leads, build a pipeline of opportunities, demonstration software solutions and manage the entire sales cycle to achieve monthly revenue and unit targets.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute a territory go-to market plan
• Generate leads via cold-calling and other contact initiators
• Build and maintain a quality sales pipeline
• Obtain new clients and find new business opportunities
• Deliver to sales targets consistently
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Carry out the sales administrative processes and reporting
• Provide market, customer and competitive feedback
• Keep updated with program changes, strategies and presentations
• Post-installation customer contact to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ongoing customer contact to explore opportunities for upselling
• Daily travel in own car, into all areas in the assigned territory

Requirements to apply for the position include:

• Matric with a tertiary qualification is preferred
• Valid drivers licence with own reliable vehicle
• Sales in-field experience in the private healthcare or IT sectors
• Face-to-face cold calling experience
• Competency to demonstrate software solutions
• Knowledge and experience of sales methodologies and processes
• A discipline approach to pipeline building
• Highly effective at closing sales
• Collaboration accross teams
• Excellent Communication skills and proficient in English plus one other official language
• Customer focused, resilient, target drive and action oriented
• An understand of the SA Private Healthcare sector is advantageous
