Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Directs daily maintenance, repairs, and technical operations for heavy commercial fleets, earthmoving equipment, or industrial plants.
Maximize vehicle and heavy plant availability by enforcing strict preventative maintenance schedules.
Supervise diesel mechanics, auto-electricians, and workshop assistants, assigning daily tasks and reviewing completed work.
Monitor parts inventory, fuel or diesel usage, labor hours, and overtime to stay within operational budgets.
Maintain strict Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards on the shop floor.
Oversee complex fault-finding using modern diagnostic tools and maintain accurate service records and job cards
