Helpdesk Consultant

Optimi is looking for a dedicated and customer-orientated individual to join the Client Engagement team as a Helpdesk Consultant. The ideal candidates should be deadline-driven with strong solution development abilities and excellent communication skills and can analyse and resolve queries.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Certificate in Client Support, Customer Service, or a related field (Advantageous)
• 1- 3 years Client Support / Call centre experience preferably with technical support
• Experience with Zoho Desk or a similar ticketing system will be advantageous.
• Fluent in English (and one other South African language)
• Basic knowledge of Project Management

DUTIES

• Answer client calls and respond to emails within the required timeframes.
• Provide basic technical assistance and resolve client issues.
• Follow up with clients to ensure queries are fully resolved.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information on the CRM system.
• Conduct outbound calls and online meetings with clients when required.
• Keep clients informed about new systems, processes, and services.
• Investigate and escalate client issues to the relevant team or manager.
• Build and maintain positive and professional client relationships.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards when handling client queries.
• Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and other duties as required.

The position is based in Centurion.
