HIV PREVENTION, PUBLIC HEALTH & STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

Matshomo Group is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Consultant / Technical Team Member to support an upcoming strategic consulting assignment in the public health sector.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Health Health Sciences Social Sciences Statistics / Biostatistics Epidemiology Economics Development Studies Psychology Sociology Communication or another relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience in HIV/AIDS prevention and programming, Public health programmes, Youth health programmes, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), TB and/or STI programmes, Health research, Data collection and analysis, Monitoring and evaluation, Strategy development, Policy development, Health communication, Stakeholder engagement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The consultant may be required to support the project team with:
• Conducting literature and document reviews.
• Undertaking research and situational analysis.
• Analysing relevant data and research findings.
• Reviewing existing programmes, policies and interventions.
• Identifying gaps, challenges and opportunities.
• Conducting stakeholder consultations.
• Supporting workshops and technical sessions.
• Developing and reviewing strategy content.
• Providing technical recommendations.
• Preparing reports, presentations and other project deliverables.
• Incorporating stakeholder inputs and feedback.
• Supporting the finalisation of project deliverables.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
