Love creating a great first impression? We are looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist who is confident behind a busy front desk, professional with guests and skilled in Opera PMS.
This is not an entry-level role. Previous hotel reception experience and hands-on Opera PMS experience are essential.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years’ Hotel Receptionist or Front Office Receptionist experience
- Opera PMS experience – essential
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Professional telephone and email communication
- Confident handling guest queries and complaints
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume hotel environment
- Good computer literacy
- Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Based in Cape Town with reliable transport for shift work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome and assist hotel guests
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs
- Process reservations and guest information on Opera PMS
- Handle guest accounts, payments and billing queries
- Manage telephone, email and front office enquiries
- Respond professionally to guest requests and complaints
- Liaise with Housekeeping, Reservations, Maintenance and other departments
- Maintain accurate guest profiles and records
- Deliver professional and efficient service throughout the guest journey
Only candidates with relevant hotel reception experience and Opera PMS experience will be considered.
Pay: R9 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
