Hospitality Hire is currently recruiting for experienced Hotel Room Attendant on behalf of a large, busy hotel operation in Cape Town.

We are looking for an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional cleanliness standards, work efficiently within a fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of detail in creating memorable guest experiences.

POSITION INFO: Minimum Requirements - Minimum 2 years' current housekeeping experience within a hotel environment - Strong understanding of hotel room cleaning standards and procedures - Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays - Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods - Strong attention to detail and good time management skills - Professional appearance and positive attitude - Valid South African ID - Fully updated CV required prior to application Key Responsibilities Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation - Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards - Prepare rooms efficiently for arrivals, stayovers, and departures - Ensure all guest amenities are correctly replenished Room Presentation & Quality Standards - Maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards in bedrooms and bathrooms - Ensure linen, surfaces, and furnishings are presented impeccably Public Area Support - Assist with cleaning corridors, service areas, and assigned public spaces when required Linen & Supplies Management - Ensure housekeeping trolleys are fully stocked with linen, guest supplies, and cleaning products Maintenance Reporting - Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or room defects promptly Guest Interaction - Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and escalate concerns where necessary Key Skills & Attributes - Strong attention to detail - Reliable and organised working style - Ability to work independently and within a team - Positive attitude and willingness to assist colleagues - Good communication and guest interaction skills - Ability to maintain standards within a busy hotel environment Why Apply - Opportunity to work within a professional hotel environment - Join a structured and supportive housekeeping team - Growth opportunities within hospitality operations
