VACANCY: HOTEL SECURITY OFFICER : LUXURY/ 5-STAR HOTEL
Location: Cape Town
Shift Pattern: 12-hour rotational shifts (day/night), including weekends, public holidays and overtime when required
Recall Security Africa is recruiting Security Officers for a prestigious 5-star hotel in Cape Town. We're looking for professional, well-presented officers who can deliver discreet, guest-focused security at the highest standard.
Requirements
PSIRA Grade C minimum, with current, active registration (Grade B or A advantageous)
Minimum 2 years' security experience. Experience in a 5-star or luxury hospitality environment is required.
Clear criminal record and willingness to undergo full background screening
Good English, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
Basic computer literacy (electronic OB systems, CIIMS advantageous)
Physically fit
Reliable transport, able to get to and from night shifts
Zero tolerance for alcohol or drug use
Key Responsibilities
Access control and guest/visitor screening at hotel entrances
Foot patrols of hotel grounds, parking and back-of-house areas
Accurate security logs, incident reports and electronic occurrence book entries
Liaising professionally and confidently with guests, hotel management and staff
Emergency response, including fire, evacuation and health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
Customer-service oriented, with polished presentation and conduct
Calm, sound decision-making under pressure
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of fire, health and safety procedures, evacuation protocols, and emergency response.
