Job description
We are seeking Housekeepers for our 5 star guesthouse. You must have a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. Our hotel staff prides itself on providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this.
The Housekeeper will report directly to the Management.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, patios/balcony and outside furniture
- Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture inside the rooms, entrance , bathroom and patios outside
- Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors and stoep areas
- Empty trash bins
- Change linens and towels and replace toiletries
- Clean windows
- Wipe dust from shelving/cabinets
- Wipe skirting, headboard and other furniture with damp cloth
- Clean coffee machines
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule
- Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart before you depart from duty
- Report any issues that require maintenance
- Hand in checklist of lost and found and or defects in rooms
- Execute and other tasks that is needed as per operational procedures from time to time.
- Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers.
- Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
- Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

Experience:
- A must requirement is having 2+ years luxury hospitality experience!

Pay: R250,00 - R350,00 per day
