Job Title: Housekeeper (Short-Term Rental / Hospitality)

Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Housekeeper with a strong background in hotel housekeeping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for a short-term rental apartment. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering spotless, hotel-quality results and understands the importance of consistency, detail, and guest readiness in a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Property Presentation
• Clean and prepare the apartment to hotel standards before and after each guest stay
• Ensure all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised
• Change and prepare linen, towels, and other guest amenities to a high standard
• Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and appliances are spotless and well-presented
• Restock essential supplies (toiletries, kitchen items, consumables) as required
• Ensure the overall presentation of the apartment is neat, welcoming, and guest-ready
• Quality Control
• Conduct detailed checks to ensure no cleaning steps are missed
• Report any damages, maintenance issues, or missing items immediately
• Maintain consistent cleanliness standards across all stays
• Laundry & Linen Management
• Wash, dry, and properly store linen and towels where applicable
• Ensure all linen is clean, fresh, and free of stains or damage
• Coordinate linen requirements with management when needed
• Operational Support
• Work closely with the Guest Experience & Operations Coordinator to ensure timely turnovers
• Follow cleaning schedules aligned with guest check-in and check-out times
• Assist in preparing the apartment for same-day turnovers when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or high-end hospitality environments (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness excellence
• Ability to work efficiently within time-sensitive turnovers
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
• Ability to follow checklists and standard operating procedures
• Physically able to perform cleaning duties and manage household tasks
