Housekeepers, Waterfront Villas (Permanent and Seasonal Positions)

About Us
Benguela Cove is a luxury wine estate on a Ramsar-listed lagoon in the Kogelberg Biosphere, where wild horses graze the banks and our cellar sits behind the vines. Our twelve Waterfront Villas are graded 5-star Self-Catering (Exclusive) by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, and our guests expect every room to feel as considered as the view.
We have both permanent and seasonal positions available for housekeepers who take real pride in detail. Our seasonal positions are a genuine pathway to permanent employment, and we promote from within our seasonal team first.
The role
- Prepare our villas to a 5-star standard, from linen and bathrooms to the smallest finishing touches
- Carry out turndown, mid-stay and departure cleans to our checklists
- Inspect each villa before guest arrival and report maintenance issues the same day
- Handle guest belongings with discretion and care
- Manage linen, amenities and cleaning stock responsibly, in line with our conservation values
- Work closely with the front desk and villa team so every arrival is seamless
About you
- At least two years of housekeeping experience in a five-star hotel, lodge, guest house or luxury villa
- A sharp eye for detail and a consistent, calm way of working
- Reliable, well presented and discreet
- Comfortable working weekends, public holidays and busy peak-season periods
- Able to lift, bend and be on your feet throughout the shift
- Good spoken English; Afrikaans is an advantage
- Reliable transport to the estate, or confirmed arrangements to get here
