The puporse of the Houskeeping Supervisor is to support the Executive Housekeeper by supervising daily operations and ensuring consistent service delivery.This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a strong eye for detail, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory role
• Lodge or safari lodge experience highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of housekeeping standards and procedures
• Good communication skills (English essential)
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Comfortable working in a remote lodge environment
• Exceptional attention to detail – understands luxury lodge standards
• Strong leadership skills – confident supervising and motivating a diverse team
• Hands-on and proactive – leads by example on the floor
• Reliable, honest, and organised
• Calm under pressure during busy changeovers
• Guest-focused mindset with pride in presentation

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas
• Ensure rooms are prepared to lodge standards for arrivals and turn-downs
• Conduct thorough room inspections and quality checks
• Manage linen, cleaning supplies, and stock control
• Train, guide, and support housekeeping staff
• Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance
• Work closely with front office and maintenance teams
• Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met
• Handle lost & found procedures professionally
