About the Role

Preemus Supplies is looking for a reliable, hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our casual housekeeping team at one of our hotel clients.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong housekeeping background who enjoys leading people, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits 2–3 times per week to monitor staff performance.
• Ensure all casual staff report for duty on time.
• Verify that staff are wearing the correct uniform, safety boots, and name badges.
• Ensure attendance registers are completed and signed correctly.
• Inspect assigned work areas to ensure hotel housekeeping standards are maintained.
• Address staff concerns and report any absenteeism, misconduct, or performance issues.
• Provide guidance and support to staff where necessary.
• Maintain professional communication with hotel management and the Preemus Supplies management team.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' housekeeping experience in a hotel, lodge, or similar hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and excellent attention to detail.
• Must be available to start immediately.
• Must have reliable transport to travel to the hotel.

Pay: R250,00 - R300,00 per day
