RESPONSIBILITIES**:**
A vacancy exists within ARRB Systems South Africa for an energetic and innovative HR Administrator. The successful candidate will be required to provide efficient HR administrative support and contribute the long-term development of the HR function. The position reports to the HR Manager and is based in Westmead, Pinetown.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Coordinate Induction and orientation of new employees to ensure workplace readiness.
- Ensure all the relevant information is obtained and documentation completed by new employees.
- HR Information System administration.
- Termination and Exit Administration.
- Benefits Administration.
- UIF Administration.
- Action all HR administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining HR documentation.
- Liaise with employees for internal documents required.
- Maintenance of employee files.
- Track, monitor and audit the time and attendance for all employees.
- Overtime Administration.
- Provide general HR guidance and advise to staff and management as required.
- Arrange meetings and take minutes.
- Support HR projects as and when required.
- Ensure HR personnel files are up to date.
- Assist employees with HR related queries and requests.
- Assist with drafting HR correspondence.
- Provide administrative support in the recruitment process.
- Assist with preparation for BEE and ISO audits and any other audits.
- Maintain compliance with the POPIA legislation.
- Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide timeous assistance.
- Responsible for communicating employee related announcements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Human Resource Management.
- 2-5 years proven experience in a HR Administration role.
- Labour Relations exposure will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of employment legislation.
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).
SKILLS AND KNOWLEGE:
- Excellent telephonic, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and practices.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Patient, approachable, helpful, and empathetic.
- Strong ethics and values.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- Resilience and ability to function effectively under pressure.
