Job description
Logistics company based in Jacobs requiring a full time HR administrator.Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Assisting with recruitment processes, including posting vacancies, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Preparing employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and induction programs.
- Process employee leave, attendance, and timesheet records.
- Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and HR procedures.
- Prepare HR reports, statistics, and management information as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times.
- Handling of general HR enquiries from employees and management.
Education:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources management, Business Administration or any other related field.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in an HR Administration or related role
Experience with HR systems and payroll process is advantageous
Skills and competencies
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, word, outlook)
- Excellent communication in verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
