We have an amazing opportunity for an HR and Systems Administrator to be based in Umhlanga, Durban . Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational HR systems administration and support services to the HR function and broader business. The role ensures accurate data maintenance, effective user support, process compliance and efficient administration of HR systems and related activities.

You Bring

  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Experience working with HR systems or business systems.
  • Experience supporting end-users and resolving queries.
  • Experience maintaining data accuracy and documentation.

A Bonus To Have

  • A relevant Degree or Diploma

What You’ll Do For The Brand HR Systems Administration

  • Maintain Team Member and organisational data within HR systems.
  • Support Team Member lifecycle transactions and system updates.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks.
  • Assist with user access administration and security processes.
  • Support the maintenance of system records and documentation.

User Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR systems queries.
  • Investigate and resolve user issues.
  • Escalate complex issues when required.
  • Track and monitor support requests through to resolution.

Reporting Support

  • Generate and distribute scheduled reports.
  • Support data extraction and validation activities.
  • Assist with dashboard and reporting requirements.
  • Verify data accuracy and completeness.

Testing and Change Support

  • Execute test scripts and validation activities.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Document defects and testing outcomes.
  • Support system changes and upgrades.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

  • Create and maintain process documentation.
  • Maintain user guides and knowledge articles.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Training Support

  • Assist with system training activities.
  • Support onboarding and upskilling of users.
  • Promote effective system utilisation.

HR Operational Administration

  • Manage long service award administration.
  • Process confirmation of employment requests.
  • Maintain departmental asset registers.
  • Support stationery and office administration requirements.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives.
  • Assist with general HR administrative activities.

Compliance and Governance

  • Support compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data privacy requirements.
  • Participate in audits and data verification activities.

General

  • Perform any other related duties as required
